From the Workshop to the National Assembly

The Workers Party of Kenya (TWP) was founded to resolve a generational paradox in Kenya’s democratic journey: while workers, farmers, jua kali artisans, and digital pioneers generate the nation's wealth, their interests have too often been marginalized in national policy making.

We represent the evolution of labor consciousness in Kenya. From the historic struggles of pioneers like Makhan Singh and Chege Kibachia to today’s software engineers, gig delivery riders, and smallholder tea growers, our cause is one: Work, Dignity, and Justice.

Our party is established in strict adherence to Article 91 of the Constitution of Kenya and the Political Parties Act. We operate as a nationwide democratic institution with chartered branches across all 47 counties, rejecting ethnic chauvinism in favor of economic solidarity.

Constitutional Identity & Values

  • •
    Primacy of Labor:
Human work is the true foundation of national capital and must be compensated with dignity.
  • •
    Technological Equity:
Digital connectivity and algorithmic platforms must serve the freedom of workers, not exploit them.
  • •
    Constitutional Integrity:
Uncompromising defense of the Constitution of Kenya, human rights, and the rule of law.
  • •
    Fiscal Accountability:
Zero tolerance for public resource theft; progressive taxation that shields the vulnerable.
